A 15-year-old has been arrested in connection to a homicide that took place earlier this year in Saskatoon. The teen has been charged with second-degree murder following an investigation by the Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) Major Crime Section. It stems from a case Apr. 15 when police were called to an apartment on the 1100 block of Avenue W North after learning someone inside was injured and unresponsive. The victim, a 21-year-old man, was declared dead at the scene. It was the city’s fifth homicide of 2026. With files from Rory MacLean
