The City of Saskatoon has once again extended spray pad hours due to extreme heat. Earlier this month, the city activated the Saskatoon Extreme Heat & Air Quality Emergency Response Plan due to soaring temperatures. As of Thursday, all spray pad hours have been extended to 10:00 p.m. The change will be in place until at least July 27. All spray pads open daily at 10:00 a.m. Environment & Climate Change Canada projects a daytime high of 31 degrees Saturday, with humidity making it feel as hot as 37. Daytime highs are expected to stay in the high 20’s through at least July 30. A list of cooldown locations across the city are available.
