The Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) is investigating the city’s ninth homicide of the year. At about 7:30 a.m. Aug. 11, police responded to a welfare check at an apartment in the 2300 block of 17th Street West, where they found a 25-year-old man dead. An autopsy Wednesday determined his death was a homicide. SPS Major Crimes is investigating the death. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers. This is an ongoing story.
