A Saskatoon man has died following a fiery crash over the weekend. Emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle crash at Highway 16 and Boychuk Drive in the early morning hours Sunday. In a news release, the Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD) says it arrived to find the vehicle fully consumed by fire. Crews used hoses to extinguish the vehicle and searched the area for anyone else involved. The 27-year-old victim was the only occupant of the vehicle. His family has been notified. Police say members of the Collision Analyst Unit have completed their investigation. The driver’s name will not be released.
