Police responding to serious collision, Highway 4 North closed at Cochin, Sask.

First responders are on scene of a serious collision in Cochin, Sask., RCMP says.

Police responded to the scene shortly before 7:40 p.m.

According to officials, Highway 4 North is closed at the Bigway on McDonald Drive and South to the Metinota turnoff.

“The highway is closed for an undetermined amount of time. Detours are in place but motorists should expect delays in the area,” RCMP said in a media release.

“Please slow down and follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene,” they added.

As this investigation is in preliminary stages, police do not have additional details to share at this time.
