Meadow Lake man facing charges in relation to child exploitation investigation

The B.C. RCMP Integrated Child Exploitation Unit says it received a tip from the Mission RCMP in March 2025 about a suspect who had allegedly sent child exploitation material through the mail.

A 34-year-old man from Meadow Lake is facing charges following an investigation by the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) Unit.

On Nov. 19, 2025, officers executed a search warrant at a home in Meadow Lake, where electronic devices were examined and seized, the Saskatoon Police Service said in a news release Tuesday.

William Cabe was charged with two counts of possessing child sexual abuse and exploitation material.

Wade was remanded until his next court appearance on March 2 in Meadow Lake Provincial Court.

The Saskatchewan ICE Unit is comprised of investigators from the RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service and Prince Albert Police Service.
