Saskatchewan RCMP say they’re investigating after a 32-year-old man died after being struck by a semi-truck on Highway 16. The crash was reported shortly before 2 a.m. Friday after a collision between a semi-truck and a pedestrian about eight kilometres west of North Battleford. Officers, along with local firefighters and paramedics, rushed to the scene, where the 32-year-old man from Canoe Narrows was pronounced dead. Police say his family has been notified. The driver of the semi-truck reported no physical injuries to police. RCMP say they continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
