For the third time in less than a year, the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were dispatched to the site of the Boujee restaurant following the reports of another fire. Early Saturday morning at 5:57 a.m. WFPS crews responded to reports of a fire in the commercial building in the 100 block of Main Street. On scene, crews found heavy smoke coming from the building. Firefighters attacked the fire from above using aerial ladders. Firefighters on scene arranged an emergency demolition of the building to ensure they could extinguish the fire. A spokesperson for the City of Winnipeg said demolition is expected to be completed on Saturday. The Boujee restaurant was previously damaged by fire last Sunday, Aug. 2 and last year in October 2025. The fire in October 2025 was later determined to be arson. No injuries were reported. The fire is currently under investigation.
