Students on the way to Saskatoon for bi-annual TeleMiracle bed push

On Thursday morning, students with the University of Saskatchewan Agriculture Students Association began the bi-annual bed push for TeleMiracle.

Beginning in Regina at 8:30 a.m. at Finning Canada and Cat Rental Store, 2360 Pasqua St. N., a group of students took off with a hospital bed adorned with the logo of the College of Agriculture and Bioresources.

The tradition, which has been held in the college since 1982, helps raise financial support and awareness for the annual telethon by pushing a bed from either Regina to Saskatoon or Saskatoon to Regina.

In 2024, the bed push raised over $98,000 – which was accomplished on campus through fundraisers, sponsorships, and collecting donations along Highway 11.

The 50^th annual TeleMiracle will begin at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28 until March 1 at 5 p.m., for a total of 22 hours.
