The Saskatchewan Roughriders have bolstered their pass-catching group, signing Canadian wide receiver Vyshonne Janusas. The 25-year-old product of Windsor, Ont. dressed for 12 games with the Calgary Stampeders over the past two seasons. Janusas, who was drafted in the fifth round of the 2025 CFL draft, played college ball at the University of Guelph. In 2024 he was named Guelph’s Most Valuable Player after hauling in 37 receptions for 546 yards in eight games. The new signing can also help in the special teams game, as he returned 26 kicks for 755 yards while playing for Guelph. The signing of Janusas comes as the Riders’ receiving core is depleted by injuries, with Samuel Emilus, James Letcher Jr. and Kian Schaeffer-Baker all on the injured list.
