Regina Police investigating bank impersonation fraud: Crime Stoppers

Regina police search for suspects in this week's edition of Crime Stoppers.

Regina Crime Stoppers are asking the public’s help to locate this man in regards to a fraud investigation.

The incident took place on Jan. 15 where the victim received a phone call from someone posing as a bank employee who claimed their credit card had been compromised.

A fake courier later collected the card from the victim’s home, then used it to make a purchase of more than $5,000 at a local business.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man with white facial hair, wearing a black jacket with reflective stripes and round metal-framed glasses.

Anyone with information about the suspect is urged to contact Regina Crime Stoppers.

Callers do not have to identify themselves, and calls are not traced or recorded.
