City-led sensory experiences in Edmonton’s urban forest are returning, starting this month. The City of Edmonton’s forest bathing program offers residents guided sensory experiences while learning about the city’s natural spaces. Forest bathing is the practice of spending time in a forested or natural setting to promote relaxation and connection to the environment. It is also known as forest therapy or Shinrin-yoku. The free weekly sessions for the second annual program begin May 14. Registration opens Wednesday online.
