Regina and several areas of southern Saskatchewan are under another blowing snow advisory this weekend. Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) issued the advisory on Saturday afternoon, with gusts expected to reach up to 70 km/h in some areas. As of Saturday afternoon, Regina, Eastend, Weyburn, Estevan, Carlyle, Indian Head, Wadena and surrounding areas were under the advisory. According to ECCC, northwesterly winds gusting 60 km/h to 70 km/h will develop late Saturday evening along with blowing snow as temperatures dip. Conditions are expected to improve on Sunday. The weather agency says road closures are possible and advises drivers to delay travel until conditions improve. Visit ECCC for current watches and warnings.
