Queen City Ex entertainment announcements ‘coming soon’: REAL

WATCH: With the Saskatoon Ex lineup announced last week, many are wondering when they’ll find out the acts for the Queen City Ex.

Following a lineup announcement for the 2025 Saskatoon Ex, many fairgoers in Regina have been asking when they’ll learn what’s coming to the Queen City Ex (QCX) this summer.

In an email to CTV News, Regina Exhibition Association Limited (REAL) says a formal announcement is expected soon.

“The Queen City Ex, presented by SaskTel will be held July 30 to August 3, 2025, at REAL District. A formal announcement regarding our midway and other 2025 programming, including concerts will be coming soon,” the email read.

REAL announced details surrounding the 2024 QCX on May 7 last year. One of 2024’s QCX concert announcements came as early as February, after rapper Ludacris performed at the Super Bowl.

In 2023, the complete lineup was revealed on May 9. Historically, announcements have been made before June, aside from pandemic years.

In 2025, Saskatoon’s Ex is scheduled to run on similar dates to QCX from July 31 to Aug. 7, returning to an eight-day format for the first time in decades.

On May 15, performances by Smash Mouth, TLC and Metric were announced.

Last year the QCX saw more than 262,000 people come through its gates, about 3,000 more than in 2023, according to REAL.
