A man has been seriously injured following a collision in central Regina late Thursday night, according to police. In an advisory issued just before midnight Thursday, Regina police reported officers were on scene investigating a vehicle collision with a pedestrian at the intersection of Dewdney Avenue and Lewvan Drive. The pedestrian was reportedly taken to hospital by paramedics while suffering from significant injuries. In an update just after 3 a.m., traffic restrictions in the area were lifted as the investigation at the scene wrapped up. According to police, the incident involved a single vehicle and the pedestrian. The investigation is considered ongoing.
