The most expensive home ever to be listed in Regina is up for sale with an asking price of $4 million.

The 6,000-square-foot home in Wascana View has been on the market for about three weeks.

Realtor Robert Nisbett says the property has attracted interest from several prospective buyers in the city.

Nisbett, who has been in the real estate business since 1983, says he never thought he’d see a $4 million home listed in Regina.

“There was a remarkable time when you pushed the envelope above $500,000,” he said.

“There are many houses in Regina, both north and southeast, that are in the $4 million-plus (range) that are lived in right now that aren’t on the market.

“So, potentially in years to come, there will be more $4- and $5-million houses that will be available in Regina.”
