The Saskatchewan Roughriders have confirmed reports all-CFL receiver KeeSean Johnson has agreed to terms with the club, signing a two-year deal. Last season was a breakout campaign for the Fresno State product who had 89 catches for 1,159 yards and four TDs for the Grey Cup champions last season, earning CFL all-star honours for the first time in his career. His reception totals were good enough for fourth in the league in receiving yards, was tied for third in receptions and despite missing two games, he was tied for the 16th best receptions total in Club history. The news was first reported by The Canadian Press Wednesday and confirmed by TSN’s Dave Naylor on ‘X’. Johnson, 29, suffered a a knee injury in Week 19 against the Toronto Argonauts which kept him out of action for the entirety of the post season, including the Grey Cup game. Set to become a free agent next month, the receiver made his Canadian Football League debut in 2024, amassing over 1,900 receiving yards in his career on 142 receptions.
