A section of Highway 401 is closed Thursday morning following a crash between a transport truck and a passenger vehicle. OPP say traffic is at a standstill in the eastbound lanes between Union Road and Colonel Talbot Road. An OPP spokesperson told CTV News that one person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. A tow truck is on its way to the scene to remove the car that is blocking traffic and police hope to have a lane opened soon. More information will be provided as it becomes available.
