Ottawa paramedics say a woman in her 20s was transported to the hospital in serious condition following a single-vehicle collision in Barrhaven on Saturday morning. Paramedics say they responded to the collision on Strandherd Drive near Longfields Drive at approximately 8:30 a.m. The incident involved a single car, and paramedics say the woman they treated was the lone occupant. Following the collision, Ottawa police closed the area to traffic, but it has since reopened.
