Police say they’re investigating an incident in which a stranger approached two teenage girls in Surrey on Tuesday afternoon. The Surrey Police Service says the teens were walking on 123A Street near Prince Charles Elementary School at around 3:30 p.m. when the interaction happened. “The driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle and unknown to either girl, talked to the girls and the girls, concerned about their wellbeing, left the area, and police were called,” police said. The SPS said they have collected CCTV video but haven’t been able to identify the man or his vehicle but described him as a 5’10” tall 25 to 35-year-old South Asian man, weighing approximately 185 pounds with brown brush-cut hair. His vehicle has been described as a white four door 2023-2025 Toyota Corolla. “SPS is asking for the public’s help so investigators can further their investigation and identify (the) vehicle and the driver,” police added. Anyone with information about the interaction, the vehicle or the driver has been asked to call the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502 and quote file number 26-116403.
