An elderly man is being treated for life-threatening injuries after his vehicle crashed into a home in Orléans. Emergency crews responded to a call for a vehicle crashing into a home on Duvernay Drive around 12:50 p.m. on Wednesday. Photos from the scene show a badly damaged vehicle on the lawn of a home, along with damage to a pillar at the front of the home. Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps tells CTV News Ottawa the driver was found suffering from cardiac arrest after the crash. He was transported to hospital for treatment. An Ottawa Police Service spokesperson said the driver may have suffered a medical event prior to the crash.
