This is the most expensive home sold in Ottawa in 2025

A home located in Ottawa’s Crystal Bay neighbourhood has sold for $5.040 million, the most expensive home sold in Ottawa this year.

Marilyn Wilson Dream Properties says the home on Grandview Road sold over the asking price in August, adding it is the highest sale price for a home since a home in Rockcliffe Park sold for $6.3 million in 2023.

The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home features 117 feet of frontage along the Ottawa River, a four-car garage, a saltwater pool and hot tub.

According to the listing, the home was designed by architect Chuck Wheeler. The basement features a recreation room, private bedroom and exercise room.

Marilyn Wilson Dream Properties says the $5 million price tag is a record-breaking sale for the Crystal Bay neighbourhood. The sale price was listed on Redfin.

The most expensive home currently on the market in Ottawa is $15 million in Dunrobin. The home on 60 acres of waterfront property includes six bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

According to Realtor.ca, a home on Kanata Rockeries is listed at $6.2 million, featuring five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and a pool.

Since July 1, four homes have sold in Ottawa for more than $3.9 million. A home sold on Lansdowne Road South in Rockcliffe Park for $3.945 million and another home sold on Winding Way in Barrhaven for $4.6 million.

According to the real estate website Redfin, a home on Old Sunset Boulevard at Ottawa’s Dow’s Lake sold for $5 million in January 2024.
