Death at Westboro apartment building not suspicious, police say

The death of a man at a Westboro apartment building has been deemed “not suspicious,” according to police.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) said a deceased man was found in the lobby of the parking garage at a building 2100 Scott Street Sunday morning.

Several police cruisers were seen outside the building on Sunday afternoon, and police tape blocked the entrance to the parking garage.

On Tuesday, police said the investigation has deemed the death “not suspicious.

“The OPS will continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this death,” police said in a media release.
