A man was sent to the hospital in critical condition following an assault in the Glebe on Saturday, Ottawa’s emergency services say. According to police, officers responded to an assault call near the intersection of Bank Street and Glebe Avenue at approximately 6:47 p.m. Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps said a man was treated at the scene for critical injuries, and he was transported to the hospital in critical condition. According to police, no arrests have been made and an investigation is underway.
