Winnipeg’s condo market is heating up. According to the latest report from the Winnipeg Regional Real Estate Board, last month saw the highest year-to-date average price for condominiums on record at $288,834. The numbers also show there were 487 active condo listings in August and 164 sales—a 19 per cent decrease in sales from August 2025. Amid the rising prices and declining sales, CTV News took a look at some of the most expensive condos on the market in Winnipeg. 290 Waterfront Drive One of the priciest condo listings in the city is a penthouse-style home in the Exchange District listed at nearly $1.2 million. Located at 290 Waterfront Dr., the condo has undergone a $550,000 upgrade with $30,000 in premium appliances, quartz countertops, and a bespoke shower. The nearly 2,400-square-foot home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, as well as a movie room, upper-level loft, and two balconies. The condo also features built-in speakers, a wet bar, and city views. The listing describes the condo as a “rare combination of architecture, craftsmanship, technology and luxury.” 236 Waterfront Drive Next up on the list is another property on Waterfront Drive. This 2,700-square-foot home is listed for $1.15 million and includes one bedroom, three bathrooms and 360-degree views of downtown and the Red River. The condo, which is located at 236 Waterfront Dr., includes high-end kitchen appliances, a quartz island and a wine bar. The home also offers porcelain tiled floors, a personal elevator and outdoor living spaces. The online listing also highlights the condo’s close proximity to theatres, festivals, museums and restaurants. 301 Country Club Boulevard The next listing moves us out of the Exchange District and under the $1 million price tag. This two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo—located at 301 Country Club Blvd.—is listed for around $940,000. The home is nearly 2,200 square feet and boasts arched doorways, detailed architecture and crown molding. It also features a private balcony overlooking the St. Charles Golf Course, a spa-inspired ensuite bathroom and a gas fireplace. The online listing adds that it’s “perfectly designed for both everyday comfort and grand-scale entertaining.” 5429 Roblin Boulevard Our next condo is a penthouse in the heart of Charleswood that’s listed with a price tag just shy of $860,000. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom home is over 2300 square feet and includes a chef-inspired kitchen, a spa-like ensuite bathroom and floor-to-ceiling windows. It also features open-concept living spaces, two private balconies and custom millwork. “This remarkable penthouse is the perfect place to call home,” the listing states. The Current A number of Winnipeg’s most expensive condo listings are in a building that’s still in the preconstruction phase called The Current. This future condo complex, which will be located on the bank of the Red River at 2328 St. Mary’s Rd., is being built by Irwin Homes. Currently, one of the listings for a top-floor condo in The Current is priced at over $1.3 million, making it the most expensive condo up for sale in the city. The listing says the future condo will be 1,780 square feet with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It adds that the condo will have expansive views of the river from every room and plenty of natural light. The home will also include a private balcony, a large walk-in closet and a gourmet kitchen. If everything goes according to plan, residents can expect to move into The Current in spring 2028.
