A motorcyclist has died after a collision with an ATV that was parked on a roadway in the township of North Dundas Friday evening. Police say they received a call just after 10 p.m., reporting a collision between a motorcycle and an ATV on County Road 11, southeast of Chesterville. Despite lifesaving efforts, the motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene, according to police. “A passerby performed CPR on the motorcycle rider until Cornwall-SDG Paramedics arrived on the scene and began life-saving measures,” the OPP said in a news release. The victim has been identified as a 40-year-old man and police have notified his family. Officers say that according to the initial investigation, the motorcycle was eastbound when it crashed with the ATV that was parked on the roadway. The investigation is ongoing.
