Group of eight from eastern Ontario and western Quebec share $1 million lotto ticket

A group of eight people from eastern Ontario and western Quebec are splitting a $1 million lotto prize after winning the Encore for on a Lotto Max ticket.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) says the group matched all seven Encore numbers on their Lotto Max tickets to win the Oct. 24, 2025 draw.

Split eight ways, the winners would take home $125,000 each. According to OLG, the winners of the prize were:

• François Philippe of Ottawa
• Angela Parker of Ottawa
• David Marion of Ottawa
• Russell Cosenzo of Ottawa
• Jason Ladouceur of Orléans
• Gordon Wheeler of Chesterville
• Julie Dingemans of Finch
• Gilbert Beausoleil of Gatineau, Québec

OLG says the ticket was purchased from a Petro-Canada on Innes Road in Gloucester.
