2 suspects in east-end robbery sought by Ottawa police

The Ottawa police Service is asking the public for help in identifying two suspects allegedly involved in a robbery from a store in the city’s east end earlier this month.

On June 8 shortly before 1:30 a.m., the two suspects entered a store in the 2000 block of St. Joseph Boulevard and started stealing merchandise items, police say.

One of them threatened a staff member when they were confronted by them, officers add, noting that no injuries were reported.

Following the robbery, the two suspects ran away on foot.

The first suspect is described as a White man with a medium build. At the time the incident happened, he was seen wearing a grey hoodie, grey sweatpants and white running shoes.

Suspect number two is described as a White woman. At the time, she was seen wearing a black Toronto Raptors hoodie, a green baseball cap, black pants or leggings and white running shoes.
