Trailer, 2 snowmobiles stolen north of Sudbury

Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible for the theft of a trailer with two snowmobiles from a public landing on Onaping Lake Road north of Sudbury.

Police said the theft occurred sometime after April 30.

Trailer, snowmobile descriptions

OPP said the stolen trailer is a 2021 black and grey dual-axle enclosed 21-foot model with Ontario licence plate V2721E.

According to police, one of the snowmobiles is a black 2023 Skidoo Expedition 900 Ace, bearing Ontario plate 4AV868 while the other is a black 2022 Skidoo Renegade Enduro, with Ontario plate 9AW539.

Suspect vehicle

“The suspect’s vehicle was described as a 2020s model maroon Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck,” police said in a social media post.

“If you have any information regarding this stolen vehicle, please contact the OPP,” police wrote.
