Snowbank tells the story of a snowy year in the Sault

A photo from Sault Ste. Marie shows just how rough a winter the city has had so far – it shows a snowbank that reaches 10-12 feet.

A couple in Sault Ste. Marie has shared a photo that shows just how much snow has fallen in the city so far this year.

The picture was taken in front of a three-storey home and shows Shane Bonin in front of a 10- to 12-foot high snowbank.

The photo was taken Feb. 4 by his partner, Kathy Robillard. The house is in the west/central part of the city.

Bonin said he operates a snow removal business, so it been a good year for him with all the snow.
