The Thunder Bay Police Service says it’s assisting the Ontario Provincial Police with an investigation on highway 11/17 north of Red River Road Wednesday morning. “The north bound lanes have been closed and expect to be closed for an extended period of time,” Thunder Bay police said in a news release July 29. “We are asking the public to avoid the area to allow officers to safely conduct the investigation.” This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
