Montreal police (SPVM) received a call from firefighters at 2 a.m. requesting assistance at a fire on Jean-Talon Street near Delorimier Avenue. “According to initial findings, a suspect reportedly smashed the restaurant’s window before using an incendiary substance to start the fire,” said Manuel Couture, a spokesperson with Montreal police.
