4 injured after crash on Highway 40 in Montreal

Four people are in hospital after a collision on Highway 40 near the exit to de la Côte-Vertu Boulevard in Montreal.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) received a 911 call at 11:30 p.m. Sunday about the incident.

The force notes that the vehicle was travelling east when the driver apparently lost control.

The car rolled over and slid off the road.

Two passengers suffered serious injuries after being ejected from their seats.

The driver and another passenger sustained minor injuries.

An SQ reconstructionist is working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
