Woman, 76, dead after she was struck by bus near Montreal airport

Police say a 76-year-old woman is dead after she was struck by a shuttle bus at the Park’N Fly parking lot near the Montreal-Trudeau airport Friday afternoon.

Police say they received a 911 call at around 1:25 p.m. and responded to the intersection of Marshall Avenue and McMillan Boulevard in Dorval.

The woman who struck was pronounced dead at the scene. Police had initially reported that she was in her 50s, but say she was in fact 76 years old.

According to police, the bus driver hit the woman and then struck five other vehicles before coming to a stop in a ditch. The driver was not injured and was taken to hospital to be treated for shock.

The parking lot was closed while police conducted

their investigation into the deadly collision.
