Montreal can expect sun and warmer temperatures for Valentine’s Day

Montrealers can expect to see sunshine for Valentine’s Day this weekend and warmer temperatures than the bitter cold during Super Bowl weekend.

Conditions will begin with a mild low of -8 C on Friday night. Northwesterly winds will bring clouds to the area.

It could also bring flurries.

However, clouds are expected to clear Saturday, as the mercury moves to a high of -1 C.

The forecast for Valentine’s Day evening is colder. Temperatures in the greater Montreal area could fall to a low of -16 C.

However, for Sunday, a return to sun and clouds will come with a daytime high of -5 C; though it could feel like -11 C with the wind chill.

The mercury could then drop down to a low of -8 C on Sunday night.
