Anglo-rights attorney eligible to be reinstated to Quebec Bar next week

Anglo rights lawyer Brent Tyler lost his case challenging Bill 101. He was defending several business owners who had signs or websites where French was not predominant enough.

Brent Tyler, the attorney known for challenging Bills 101 and 104, will be eligible for reinstatement to the Quebec bar next week.

Tyler was suspended for three months in March for failing to submit accounting reports to the association.

The application is necessary to re-obtain eligibility to practice law in the province.

Tyler had previously been suspended in 2011 after the Bar ruled he had not been keeping up with ongoing training.
