Transport truck spills load following two vehicle collision near Wingham

A transport truck is on its roof in the ditch following a two-vehicle collision between Bluevale and Wingham.

The crash on Highway 86 involved the tractor trailer and an SUV, according to the Huron OPP. It happened around 4:30 Thursday afternoon.

The transport truck is seen with wheels up in the ditch, and its load of corn or beans spilled across the roadway.

Emergency crews weren’t able to share the extent of the injuries of those involved yet.

They did, however, say that a section of Highway 86 between Wingham and Bluevale will be closed for a long time and are asking drivers to plan alternate routes.
