Three Ont. youths killed in crash, one in hospital with life-threatening injuries

The West Grey Police Service is investigating after a single-vehicle crash turned fatal, killing three teens from Hanover, Ont.

The incident happened on Concession 2 in the area of Allan Park Road Tuesday around noon, police said.

According to police, four teens between the ages of 15 and 17 were in the car at the time of the crash. Three of them were pronounced dead at the scene, and the fourth was taken to a London hospital via air-ambulance service ORNGE with life-threatening injuries.

All four were students at John Diefenbaker Senior School in Hanover.

In a statement to CTV News, the West Grey Police Service said it extends “its deepest condolences to the family, friends and loved ones affected by this devastating loss,” and asked for privacy for those involved as “families and the community come to terms with this tragedy.”

Hanover’s police chief also offered condolences, calling it “a devastating loss for these families and our local communities.”

West Grey police, along with Ontario Provincial Police, continue to investigate the incident and are asking members of the public to avoid the area.
