Suspect wanted for armed robbery in St. Thomas

St. Thomas police are investigating an armed robbery.

The incident happened just after 10 p.m. Tuesday at a plaza at Wellington Street and First Avenue in St. Thomas.

According to police, a man entered the business demanding money while brandishing a handgun. The suspect fled the area on foot with a quantity of cash.

No physical injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a white man., about 5’11”–6’ tall, with a thin build.

At the time of the incident, he was wearing a Black Puma sweater with a white stripe down the arms, a light-coloured hoodie underneath with the hood up, a dark ballcap and burgundy balaclava covering his face, blue jeans, and black running shoes.
