The Downtown Stratford Business Improvement Association (DSBIA) has launched its new initiative, ‘Shop Main Street Canada. Support Local.’ It looks to encourage the community to prioritize local purchases and recognize the roll downtown businesses play in the community. “This campaign is more than just shopping locally; it’s about investing in the future of Stratford,” said Jamie Pritchard, general manager of DSBIA. “By choosing to shop, dine, and do business with downtown, we are directly contributing to economic growth, job creation, and the preservation of the unique character of our neighbourhoods.” If you would like to support the campaign, everyone is invited to update their social media pages to include the ‘Shop Main Street Canada, Support Local’ log, shop at local businesses, eat at independently-owned restaurants and cafés, choose Canadian-made products and services, and connect with DSBIA on the initiative and promotions.
