Volunteers are wanted to stand at the Chatham Cenotaph vigil for Remembrance Day. Christ Church Anglican put out a call on its website, asking those interested in standing at the Cenotaph for an hour to show respect for those who served Canada. Volunteers will stand for chunks of time on Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Nov. 11 from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Christ Church will offer food and drinks, acting as a warming centre for volunteers. If you, your family, organization, or business are interested in standing at the King Street Cenotaph or helping in the kitchen, you are asked to contact Christ Church at 519-352-1640 or email churchoffice@christchurchchatham.ca.
