Snowfall warning ends, flurries and blowing snow persist

The snowfall warning has ended, but flurries continue Wednesday evening with blowing snow and slippery, icy road conditions, and temperatures are falling overnight.

“We’ll have wind chills into the minus teens overnight,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “We’ll have another round of snowfall coming through [Thursday] morning and will be in and out of flurries throughout the day.”

Atchison said the winds will again be quite gusty, meaning blowing snow could be a problem on area roads.

Looking ahead to the weekend, Atchison warns residents to bundle up, “Another blast of cold coming in for Friday, the high minus 12. Some of the coldest air of the season arrives this weekend and there is the potential for some heavy snow developing on Sunday.”

Friday: A mix of sun and cloud with 40 per cent chance of flurries. High minus 13.

Saturday: A mix of sun and cloud. High minus 12.
