Ingersoll family thankful after flood of support

An Ingersoll family whose son suffers from a rare medical disorder is expressing thanks after the community stepped up with support.

Three-year-old Lyndon Kloss suffers from Christianson Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder, and his family was trying to raise the funds to travel to Texas to meet with a specialist.

The condition affects Lyndon mentally and physically. He does not yet walk or talk, and his motor skills are delayed.

Following a story on CTV London, the family says they have reached their fundraising goal for the trip, and have had an outpouring of support from the community.

The email continues, "The level of hear-warming involvement of the community through donations, well-wishes, and just words of general support is up-lifting and very heart-felt to our family."
