Hanover police investigating overdose death

Hanover Police are warning residents to be careful when it comes to consuming illicit drugs following a suspected drug overdose.

Officers were called to a residence in the 500 block of 12th Street Friday morning for a 34-year-old man in medical distress.

He was transported to Hanover and District Hospital with no vital signs.

Emergency personnel ater transferred him to Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound.

He has since died.

Hanover Police are urging the public not to take any illegal drugs for fear of overdose or death.
