Flurries in the forecast Wednesday ahead of weekend warm-up

CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison has your full weather forecast.

A mainly cloudy Wednesday is in the forecast today with some flurries expected in midwestern Ontario.

“The temperature below freezing through the afternoon at minus three, the forecast high, but close to where we should be for this time of year,” said CTV London Meteorologist Julie Atchison. “We will see some isolated flurries make the move through Huron County as well today and into London-Middlesex.”

Overall, conditions are much calmer and more seasonal than they have been in recent weeks, much to the delight of residents.

“Temperatures as we head toward the weekend … are looking up and will be above freezing,” said Atchison.

Wednesday: Mainly cloudy. 30 per cent chance of flurries changing to 70 per cent chance of flurries late in the afternoon. Wind northwest 30 km/h. High minus 2. Wind chill minus 14 in the morning and minus 9 in the afternoon.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy. 70 per cent chance of flurries in the evening. Wind northwest 30 km/h. Low minus 7. Wind chill near minus 14.

Thursday: Cloudy. High minus 3.

Friday: Sunny. High zero.

Saturday: Sunny. High plus 4.

Sunday: Cloudy. High plus 3.
