Driver charged after allegedly passing and hitting a snowplow

A driver has been charged after allegedly passing and hitting a snowplow in Exeter.

Just after 1 a.m. on Dec. 9, a snowplow driver was clearing snow on London Road, heading north. A pickup truck then tried to pass the plow on the right-hand side, according to police, and hit the plow.

The driver of the truck, a 63-year-old man, was charged with careless driving.
