It was a fraternity house Christmas party in north London which took a dangerous turn after rubbing alcohol was thrown on an open fire. On Dec. 2, 2025 emergency crews rushed to the Pi Kappa Alpha frat house on Richmond Street and transported five women and one man to hospital, with one of the women being in critical condition. The court heard that during the loud party flames erupted, causing havoc after isopropyl alcohol was dumped on the fire. In court on Friday, Bryson Donald, 20, pled guilty to one count of criminal negligence causing bodily harm. He remains free on bail until his sentencing hearing which has been set for June 26.
