Two drivers charged with stunt driving in Guelph

Two drivers have lost their licences for 30 days after police said they were caught stunt driving in Guelph.

The first incident happened when a Guelph Police Service officer was patrolling in the Kortright Road West area. He said he spotted a black Audi travelling at 116 km/h in a 50 km/h zone.

Five hours later, the same officer was in the Woodlawn Road West area near Michener Road when he saw a grey Mazda being driven at 109 km/h in a 60 km/h area.

A 17-year-old from Guelph and a 20-year-old from Kitchener were both charged with speeding and stunt driving. Both of their licences have been suspended for 30 days and their vehicles were impounded for 14 days.
