A man from Guelph has been arrested after he allegedly got into a fight with a church caretaker. The Guelph Police Service was called to the downtown church on Thursday around 12:35 p.m. The caretaker told officers he had asked a man who was loitering on the property to leave. However, the man threatened the caretaker and then threw a glass item at him. The glass missed the caretaker and shattered on the ground. A short time later, a 43-year-old Guelph man was found downtown and arrested for assault with a weapon and uttering threats.
