Foggy conditions in Waterloo Region and Guelph

Poor visibility made for challenging conditions for drivers.

Environment Canada has advised the public of near zero visibility due to fog on Wednesday.

At 7:17 a.m., the weather agency released a fog advisory that stated anyone travelling should expect significantly or suddenly reduced visibility. Those driving should slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop.

The fog is expected to clear later Wednesday morning.
